The ASUS FX504GE-ES72 is a mid-range gaming laptop that comes with an affordable price tag. The specs on paper are pretty exciting for the price, and you can expect this laptop to give a more than decent gaming performance.
The laptop is aimed at mid-range and some heavy gamers who want to game on the budget. Though the price is not that cheap, we’ve got to agree that this is budget pricing for a gaming machine. Design
The ASUS FX504GE-ES72 comes with a solid design. The laptop looks and feels premium, thanks to the sturdy construction and the use of high-end materials. The laptop comes in black and red which is ASUS’s color scheme for most of its gaming machines.

If ASUS had gone for a mechanical drive, there would have been sluggish performance all around. Though one may argue that the SSD is very limited, in terms of space, it does make the laptop what it is. Also, opting for a larger SSD would significantly improve the price of the device.

Gaming here is pretty good considering the price of the laptop. The graphics card here is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti. This GPU is based on Pascal architecture and comes as a 14nm chip. The performance of this laptop depends a lot of the cooling performance of this laptop. Luckily, we have a good cooling system in place.
Being a mid-range gaming laptop, you can’t expect this one to run all the latest AAA games at high and ultra setting. There are definitely some setbacks when it comes to running graphically intensive games but you can combat them by reducing the settings. You can run most of the mid-range games and a few high-end games at high settings without any issues.

Battery life is not a selling point in the ASUS FX504GE-ES72. With light usages such as browsing the web, consuming media, and light office work, the battery lasts for about 3 hours which is disappointing. If you’re going to game on this laptop, then it is going to last a lot shorter. So be informed and have a power outlet at your disposal when you kick off your next gaming marathon.
